At Wolverham Primary and Nursery School, we are proud to be recognised as a Little Wandle Champion School, a testament to our commitment to high-quality phonics teaching and early reading. As a Champion School, we have been recognised as achieving the 16 standards of excellence in reading and phonics. We are able to provide inspiration, training, and ongoing support for schools implementing the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised phonics programme.

Our phonics approach is embedded in our vision: to nurture happy, confident learners who achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love of reading. We aim to ensure every child becomes a fluent reader and writer, capable of tackling unfamiliar words and unlocking new worlds through their reading skills. We feel that our vision matches perfectly with Little Wandle and their beliefs.
